Prime Minister Janša visited the Muslim Cultural Centre and met with the Mufti of the Islamic Community in Slovenia, Nevzet Porić. The Prime Minister’s meeting with the Mufti was devoted to a discussion on the functioning and life of the Islamic community in the Republic of Slovenia. The discussion also touched upon the war in Ukraine and the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Prime Minister thanked the Mufti for his constructive cooperation and support for the government’s actions during the pandemic, and the Mufti expressed to the Prime Minister his support for the common good. The meeting was also devoted to a visit to the mosque and the Muslim Cultural Centre.
