Under his leadership, the hospital successfully faced the demanding situation and managed to ensure effective treatment and care of patients with good organisation, cooperation and knowledge of the relevant issues. In ten days, the management managed to complete the renovation of the premises that had been going on for 12 years and to put them into service in the most critical moments.

In the justification for Poklukar’s candidacy, Prime Minister Janez Janša added that he considered Janez Poklukar a suitable candidate for the Minister of Health and asked the National Assembly to ensure that the activities necessary for the appointment of the new Minister are carried out as soon as possible.
