Prime Minister Janez Janša took part at a working meeting via videoconference before the forthcoming extraordinary session of the European Council.
Other participants at the videoconference meeting were the President of the European Council Charles Michel, the Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger and the Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin. In their talks, the leaders discussed, among other things, the planned topics of the meeting to be held on 30 and 31 May 2022 in Brussels. The planned topics include the situation in Ukraine, energy, food security and defence.
