After the government “broke” the free market twice with unreasonable announcements of wheat buybacks and fuel price hikes and started comparing the prices of a basket of foodstuffs, which provoked general ridicule, it is now time for a new ruse that will make us laugh at the incompetent government bureaucrats. Get to know the online calculator for calculating the energy supplement.
Minister of Labour Luka Mesec said at the presentation of the online calculator for calculating the energy allowance for recipients of cash social assistance and welfare allowance that the online calculator will show the individual whether he is entitled to the energy allowance or not. Otherwise, only persons who are already recipients of welfare allowance or social state aid are entitled to the payment of the energy allowance.
The minister’s statement was processed by the media in a PR manner, but basically it makes no sense at all. Let’s try to work it out:
“This week, we sent a notification to 113,000 pensioners whose pension does not exceed the limit for eligibility for the protection allowance, that they are entitled to the energy allowance.”
Right. So, we are talking about automaticity, given that they have already established eligibility for the allowance? No… the next step at CSD is still needed…
“… they should contact the CSD to find out if they are entitled to a welfare allowance …”
How, if they already found out at the ministry that the allowance belongs to them?
On the other hand, the ministry says to turn to the online calculator. What is the truth now?
- The Ministry only found out to whom the allowance belongs, so why is there no automation, as with PKP?
- They need to contact CSD to find out if they are eligible?
- They have to use an online calculator? Why, if they have to contact the CSD?
This masterpiece of government communication was also noticed by Twitter users, who quickly pointed out the logical inconsistencies in the statements of the young, suffering minister Mesec.
Apparently, they have again stumbled into a project that they did not think through before submitting it to the revolutionary press of the working people. What is happening to government communications? How long will they depend on the servile media to cover up the obvious communication deficit against which the previous government is a true PR champion. It is more than obvious that the new left-wing government entrusted the projects to complete information and organisational illiterates, who then send them the final products according to the GIGA (Garbage-In-Garbage-Out) principle, that is, corrupted information in, corrupted information out. They are lucky that the media is protecting them from the wrath of the people for the time being. But for how much longer?
