MP Branko Grims pointed out the media’s double standards in the case of the rape of a minor by a migrant

MP Branko Grims warns of double standards in the Slovenian media. Why is the rape of a minor in an asylum in Ljubljana so little reported and who is to blame for such violent attacks?

In a migrant home in Vič, a stranger raped a minor who came there with her mother and another relative. The rape happened at the end of June, but due to the police investigation and the victim’s youth, they do not want to say more.

MP Branko Grims attributed the responsibility for this tragedy to the misguided policies of Golob’s government: “The Prime Minister himself, in his golobism, said this in one of the Croatian media.” Grims refers to Golob’s statement: “We have overcrowded asylum centres…that is why we are going to tear down the border fence.” According to Grims, with this, he gave a signal to illegal migrants to invade the territory of Slovenia, and they understood it that way.

Branko Grims pointed out that equating genuine refugees from Ukraine with economically, religiously, and politically motivated migrants from areas of radical Islam is dirty left-wing manipulation.

“This is not only an obvious abuse, but also a terrible manipulation at the expense of real refugees, which is extremely unfair to Ukrainians and Christians from the area of extreme Islam. Such manipulation then ends in a tragedy, which does not receive a proper response in the media,” said Grims, as it is very likely that a minor refugee from Ukraine was raped. “The rape of a minor is not reported by the left-wing media, or it is reported on in an extremely biased way,” Grims continued and added, “instead of stories about the crimes committed daily by illegal migrants in European countries, they only publish bombastic news when there is a chain reaction, which, of course, they portray as ‘unprovoked racist violence’.”

Branko Grims warns that the worst are the double standards of the mainstream media. In elite terms, they report that a migrant was beaten, but they do not say a word about the horrific attack on a minor in Italy, which was perpetrated by a migrant. Also, black anti-white racism is an absolute taboo topic in the world media. In the central television programme on Television Slovenia, the rape was blamed on the bad conditions in the asylum.

“Safety must come first. Any double standards are completely unacceptable,” concluded Branko Grims.
