Among the party leaders, the best election result was achieved by Janez Janša, who ran in two districts (Grosuplje and Ivančna Gorica), where 40.94 percent of voters cast their ballots for him.

For Robert Golob, who also ran in two districts (Bežigrad 1 and Domžale 2), 32.96 percent of voters cast their ballots. During the vote count, it was long uncertain whether Golob would even be elected to the National Assembly. In the Ljubljana Bežigrad electoral unit, Svoboda won four seats, and Golob achieved the fourth‑best result among the party’s candidates. Left outside parliament in the end, with 31.38 percent, was Dean Premik in fifth place. The graphic shows how all party leaders performed, most of whom significantly exceeded the results of their parties.

Among the least successful, when comparing personal results with those of their parties, were Golob and Anže Logar. Logar was not elected as an MP in Logatec; 8.31 percent of voters supported him, and he was overtaken by Tadej Ostrc in the Ljubljana Vič–Rudnik district with 8.47 percent. The result is close, and since additional votes from special polling stations, including those abroad, will still be added, it may yet change. For SD, Matjaž Han was elected with 20.41 percent in his traditional district of Laško. By percentage, he surpassed the president of NSi, Jernej Vrtovec, who was elected in Ajdovščina with 17.39 percent. Zoran Stevanović (Resni.ca) became an MP with 11.65 percent in the Kranj 2 district. For Levica, Asta Vrečko was elected with 14.75 percent in Ljubljana Bežigrad 2, and Luka Mesec with an average of 18.35 percent in the Centre and Šiška 1 districts. Vladimir Prebilič, whose party failed to reach the four‑percent threshold, collected 9.09 percent in the Kočevje and Ljubljana Bežigrad 2 districts. Jasmin Feratović, who similarly fell below the threshold with the Pirates, received 4.2 percent in the Ljubljana Centre and Šiška 1 districts. More than one percent, enough to secure public funding until the next election, was also achieved, alongside Prerod and the Pirates, by Zmago Jelinčič’s SNS, which received 4.53 percent of the vote in the Šmarje pri Jelšah and Slovenska Bistrica districts. A complete failure was experienced by Miha Kordiš, whose new party did not reach even one percent, leaving him without a parliamentary seat or funding. In the Ljubljana Centre and Šiška 1 districts, 1.28 percent of voters supported him as party leader.

Among the biggest losers of the election is also the Speaker of the National Assembly, Urška Klakočar Zupančič (Svoboda), who in the Ljubljana Centre electoral unit achieved only the seventh‑best result within her party and thus remained outside parliament.
