It seems that the commission led by Tamara Vonta wants to continue settling scores with mayors from the SDS!

The parliamentary investigative commission, which among other things investigates the media and is led by Tamara Vonta (Gibanje Svoboda), who succeeded Mojca Pašek Šetinc, apparently intends to continue settling scores with mayors from the Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS), conducting a pogrom against them and discrediting them. The fact that the investigative commission was established solely for the purpose of discrediting SDS members was already stated by Pašek Šetinc after being expelled from the Gibanje Svoboda party.

According to available information, in mid-April, the commission addressed requests to the supervisory boards of at least two municipalities, urging them to conduct “the required oversight of the purpose and efficiency of the use of municipal budget funds through concluding legal transactions for the publication of paid notices with the media issuer Demokracija Nova Obzorja,” which were ordered by the mentioned municipalities.

Under the leadership of Tamara Vonta, the commission further suggests to the municipal members of the supervisory boards that “presumed irregularities in the operations” of the mentioned municipalities have been detected. In a longer message, signed by Vonta, she elaborates extensively on the operations and findings. However, during the hearings of mayors, including Vrhnika and Lendava, it was found that these findings were biased and therefore unreliable.

Now, Tamara Vonta is inciting the supervisory boards to investigate “suspicions” and initiate an appropriate form of oversight procedure in municipalities based on such biased and unreliable alleged findings and facts. At the same time, they are to inform the investigative commission of their findings.

The witch hunt thus continues with Tamara Vonta, who repeatedly proves that she is the “proud relative of Stane Dolanc.
