“Something must be done about this, with the signing and ratification of various laws by the State of Slovenia, not just as a part of the European community but also with the United Nations, they can and will be held accountable for their actions,” International Human Rights Observer Michelle Laura Kling commented on the recorded speach of the Judge Zvjezdan Radonjić who talked about the pressure of a deep state on the trial of Dr. Milko Novič.

“I am in shock today, again, by the misconduct and corruption in the court of Slovenia. I have in the past 4 almost 5 years laid witness to misconduct, unlike anything I could ever imagine. I thought that nightmare was over, and although I was not physically present at every hearing of the last trial against Dr. Novič, rest assured that I still followed the case very closely. I wanted to be sure that after the violations of his Human Rights at the hands of the district court in the last trial, this time he would be given a fair and equal trial. The honorable Judge Zvjezdan Radonjić seemed to be doing just that. He was precise and forward and was it clear to both sides that he would not be misled by presumptions or beliefs but wanted facts. Because that is what a Judge should do, evaluate the facts that he has been given, and the proof, or as in the case of Dr. Novič, the lack of proof.

What I heard in the recordings of Judge Radonjić (with a translation of my own source) has left me terrified for the people of Slovenia, that a Judge be prosecuted for doing a fair and equal job, his personal life exposed and manipulated, his very career at stake, that he be pressured by his colleagues to convict a man that is not guilty, this is terrifying. All the while another judge that was found to have violated the Human and Civil rights of a citizen can walk around to this day untouched. Has she been removed of her position, one wonders the pressures that were put upon her at the time of the trial, did she bend from fear or because she followed the misconduct and corruption of the trial for her own reasons? I guess we will never know. But the fact remains that we should all be scared and very angry. If the very people that should uphold our constitutions and our laws are the very ones that are corrupt and unlawful what hopes do we have to live a safe future? Must the people of Slovenia walk in fear forever?

Something must be done about this, with the signing and ratification of various laws by the State of Slovenia, not just as a part of the European community but also with the United Nations, they can and will be held accountable for their actions.”
