“Independent” journalist Blaž Zgaga was richly rewarded by the SD party yesterday – with a candidacy for MP in the elections to the National Assembly, reports N1. Apparently, it paid off to write many articles against Prime Minister Janez Janša, the SDS, Patria and the current government. This is not the first journalist against Janša to win a seat in the SD party. A few months ago, the host Jonas Žnidaršič “earned” his candidacy, a few years ago Delo and Dnevnik journalist Dejan Karba, and last but not least, Tanja Fajon used to be an “independent” reporter on RTV.
The Social Democrats are actively preparing for the April parliamentary elections and are gathering all their “strength” to fight Janez Janša. Following the December announcement of the candidacy of actor and leader Jonas Žnidaršič on the SD list, the list of candidates of this party will also be strengthened by journalist Blaž Zgaga. For the candidates for the SD party, those who have been most committed to attacks and lies against the current government in recent years are obviously the most suitable and rewarded.
Blaž Zgaga was a journalist for Večer and Delo, and in the last two years he has been actively involved in exporting lies abroad. Namely, he is the most productive export journalist, who makes sure that news leaks across our borders, which is very misleading and shapes the real picture of the situation in our country, according to the agenda of the left opposition. Namely, he sends letters to press houses abroad about repression and restrictions on journalists’ freedom, he also reported on the situation with the STA and reported on the “fascist” police in Slovenia. In fact, he only does this when the government is led by Janez Janša. It is worth mentioning that in 2007 he also wrote a public letter to European leaders and the media about censorship in Slovenia and signed “Petition 571”. He also participated with Dejan Karba in the false Patria affair, which influenced the outcome of the 2008 elections, that Janez Janša did not win again. It should be reminded that Janša was acquitted, but the newspaper Delo lost in court due to false writing and slandering Janša’s name and the SDS party in the Patria case.
He described police officers and nurses as fascists
Zgaga is also very active on Twitter, where he only publishes content directed against the current government of Janez Janša. Lastly, he accused the Slovenian police under the leadership of Anton Olaj of turning the police into a fascist militia, he also attacked Minister Aleš Hojs, and insultingly described Minister Tonin as a “collaborating home guard”. He is even under a criminal investigation for insulting the police and its director general and faces up to six months in prison. Not only police officers, he also described nurses as fascists during the pandemic.
Either way, such people make up and get their place in the SD party. The more you hate Prime Minister Janša, the more chances you have.
