Finance Minister Andrej Šircelj held several meetings as part of the annual session of the IMF and World Bank, held between last Monday and today.

Bernardin Akitoby, chief of the IMF mission for Slovenia, said the upgraded economic forecast for Slovenia was a result of appropriate measures taken during the pandemic. The IMF projected a 6.3% growth for this year and 4.6% for 2022. Šircelj told Akitoby the recovery would continue to be supported by investment and reforms from the Slovenian recovery and resilience plan.
