Golob’s government allocated over a million euros to the institute of Goran Forbici, whom Golob previously sent as the President of the Council of RTV Slovenia to cleanse this public institution of supporters of Janša.

What will Forbici do with this money? Robert Golob’s government announced a call for proposals through which it distributed 6.3 million euros, stating the purpose as: “To strengthen the visibility and quality of regional hubs or networks in their field of activity, thereby also enhancing awareness, organisational development, and capacity for advocacy and sustainable strengthening of non-governmental organisations.”

The purpose is unclear, but not to everyone. What the Ministry of Public Administration, which distributed this money, expected, was apparently well known to some non-governmental organisations, as recently reported by Planet 18. It was revealed that Goran Forbici, the President of the Council of RTV Slovenia, performed the best in the call for proposals.

Forbici is also the main executor of the agreement with Prime Minister Robert Golob regarding the purging of so-called Janša supporters at RTV. Forbici heads the Centre for Information, Cooperation and Development of NGOs (CNVOS), and the government approved 1.099 million euros for him. The money can be spent until December 31st, 2027, which means that this umbrella network of NGOs (CNVOS), whose director is Goran Forbici, has guaranteed funding until the end of 2027.

The government announced the call for 6.3 million euros even during the tenure of Sanja Ajanović Hovnik as Minister of Public Administration. She was succeeded by Franc Props, who, however, was not willing to explain more to the public about the call and disclose the entire tender documentation.

According to Planet TV, he cited the Access to Public Information Act, even though it involves taxpayer money, and the public has the right to know how it is distributed, to whom, and how it is spent.

Tax expert and former Director of the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, Ivan Simič, commented on this: “Time for settlement and adjustment, with payment to follow.” He added, “Taxpayers gladly contribute to the budget, as commissions appropriately distribute the deposited funds.” The latter statement is, of course, sarcastic.

Below we publish some comments:

  • When Ivan Simič starts to get fed up with the idiocy, we know things have gone too far.
  • One of a thousand and one ways of laundering money into leftist pockets.
  • Parasites can easily distribute OUR money to freedom.
  • With what ease taxpayer millions are squandered, while there is no money for essential things. Will anyone ever be held accountable for this?
