Revisit the most memorable Super Bowl performances ever
Super Bowl LV came at a difficult time for the world, but The Weeknd still did his best to make it a memorable one. That included pouring in US$7 million of his own money into his halftime performance, plenty of masked backup dancers, some instantly viral close camera work, and a medley of his greatest hits.
Everything down to his custom red Givenchy blazer, which reportedly took four embroiderers over 250 hours to embellish with crystals, was elaborate and in tune with his wild-night-in-Vegas theme of his ‘After Hours’ LP.Though he pulled off a wondrous production on his own, many still aren’t sure if he’ll rank among some of the more star-studded performances of past.
To see how he compares to other headliners, check out this compilation of Super Bowl performing legends.
