Property advert sparks ‘outrage’ as ‘bed in shed’ is listed for £1,000 per month

A property listing in Dublin has caused a stir after people spotted that someone was asking for €1,200 (£1,000) per month to live in a shed in Tallaght

When it comes to ridiculous rentals, we expect to see tiny rooms and studio apartments where your oven is next to your shower offered for eye-watering monthly costs.

But people were shocked to see a ‘bed in a shed’ for rent in Tallaght, Dublin, for €1,200 (£1,000) per month, reports Dublin Live.That’s a staggering €14,400 a year!

In a post on Daft.ie and Rent.ie, that has since been removed, one landlord shared a property listing, with the image showing nothing more than a double bed (no mattress) and a portable heater inside a wooden shed.

Despite the ad being deleted, house hunters who saw it shared screenshots of it on Twitter where it has since gone viral – sparking outrage.
