Dejan Ornig, who hacked into a police communications system five years ago as a student of the Faculty of Security Studies, has received a two-year suspended sentence.

The Ljubljana District Court ruling is not final and the defence plans to lodge an appeal, Dnevnik reported. Ornig was found guilty of attacking an information system and forging a criminal police ID, despite his defence arguing that he thought he was doing this in collaboration with the police.
