Major British retailer ‘adopts sharia law’ and sells hijabs for children as young as 3-years-old

The former bastion of all that is British, M&S, no longer represents traditional Britain. Instead, Marks & Spencer have seemingly sold out to become Mohammad & Sharia, The Voice of Europe reports.

The high street chain has caused a storm by offering a hijab for young children in their shops and online in their school-wear category.

Response from the public has been extreme, with people publicly tweeting their disgust of trying to profit on the ‘medievalism’ of selling something that many view as oppressive, something even ‘toddler girls in Saudi Arabia’ aren’t forced to do.

One such message to M&S from Aussie commentator Rita Panahi exclaims that: “This is vile Marks and Spencer. Modesty culture is backward & subjugating but even in Saudi Arabia toddler girls aren’t required to cover their hair.”
