An 84-year-old grandad has beaten Covid-19, despite doctors saying he was “deteriorating” and was in “critical” condition.
His granddaughter filmed the heartwarming moment that her grandad prepared to leave the hospital after he had been given the all clear, and uploaded it online.
The unnamed man, who was sitting in a wheelchair had a mask over his mouth and nose, and was seen smiling and waving at the nurses who applauded him.
The video has since been viewed on Twitter nearly two million times, and received over 200,000 likes and 30,000 comments.
