Production Company Lucasfilm, owned by Walt Disney studios, and specifying in Star Wars franchise movies and series, recently fired an actress and former MMA fighter, Gina Carano, because of her “inappropriate” post on social media.

The reason for her being fired is not in her acting skills, but because of the inappropriate post in which she implied that being a Republican in the USA today, is like being a Jew in Second world war Germany. Mainstream media instantly attacked her because of that statement, and Lucasfilm spokespersons said that the studio will no longer work together with the actress. They also added, that “her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable”. It seems that the politically correct hysteria is gone so far, that people are losing jobs just because of their opinions.

Gina Carano portrayed in the series “The Mandalorian” a soldier of the Rebel Alliance forces, Cara Dune.
