Taylor Swift was the big winner at this year’s American Music Awards as the pop star smashed Whitney Houston’s record for the most AMAs won by a female, The Mirror reports.
Taylor picked up the coveted artist of the year prize, seeing off competition from Drake, Ed Sheeran , Post Malone and Imagine Dragons.
Accepting the gong on stage, she said: “I just want to say to the fans, you have been so nice to me and fun and funny and so cool and so lovely, and it’s not lost on me, I understand how lucky I am.”
