Slovenia reported 3,141 new coronavirus cases for Monday, up by more than 20% over the week before and the highest daily figure since 18 February.
The trend has turned upwards as expected two weeks after the relaxation of most restrictions. Overall hospital numbers rose slightly as well with 269 patients hospitalised due to Covid-19, but the number of those in intensive care remained level at 74. Five patients with Covid-19 died.
