Economy Minister Zdravko Počivalšek announced the ministry would help tourism in three areas this year as he argued the industry would need to adapt to the new reality of Ukraine war while still grappling with the fallout from the pandemic.
EUR 140 million will be available for investment in public infrastructure, accommodation and tourism offerings to increase added value. The second area will be securing a stable and predictable business environment and the third area is adapting tourism promotion.
