The Jury Grand Prix of the 18th Animateka international animated film festival was conferred on Impossible Figures and Other Stories I by Polish director Marta Pajek as the festival ended on Saturday with the awards ceremony.

The award is given to a film competing in the Eastern and Central European section. The festival’s audience chose Babičino Seksualno Življenje (Granny’s Sexual Life) by Slovenian director Urška Djukić and France’s Emilie Pigeard as their favourite. Animateka featured 344 short animated films and seven feature films, and was held in-person, with some films also been available online.
