On November 19th, 2021, the jury at the Wisconsin trial was the only one to find Kyle Rittenhouse innocent. Calvary, which began on August 25th, 2020, during the riots in Kenosha, received a well-deserved epilogue. This also definitively confirmed, which was clear from the very night when the shooting occurred between the BLM and Antifa riots in Kenosha, that the then 17-year-old Rittenhouse was shooting in self-defence.
But this is just the beginning. Recall, the cause of several months of riots in all major US cities in 2020 was the death of black criminal George Floyd on May 25th, 2020. The media blamed a white police officer for his death, although an autopsy confirmed that Floyd died of overdose of fentanyl. Over the months, a new black criminal was always found who could not resist resisting arrest. Rayshard Brooks reached an infamous end in Atlanta on June 12th, 2020, when he resisted arrest in a drunken state, grabbed a policeman’s paralyser, tried to use it, and then ended up dead. The third “musketeer” was Jacob Blake of Kenosha, who fired four shots while resisting arrest on August 23rd, 2020, and remained paraplegic. Blake is a unique case in general, as the police were called for help by the mother of his child, who had raped her several times in the past. However, when he ended up in a wheelchair, the current US President Joe Biden also sympathised with him. Former President Donald Trump, on the other hand, defended Rittenhouse. As we can see, the competition for the 2020 Darwin Prize was fierce.
The trial of Rittenhouse helped shed light on the whole affair. It turns out that Rittenhouse, who otherwise lived in Antioch, neighbouring Illinois, was strongly attached to Kenosha. In addition to working there over the summer, his father also lived in the city. Antioch and Kenosha are separated by about 30 kilometres. It is like driving from Ljubljana to Kranj. Understandably, the young man, who once dreamed of joining the police, was willing to help a community he knew, clean graffiti and give first aid. Rittenhouse was a teenager. Naïve, innocent, idealist. He wanted to help. And because of that, he was apparently the ideal target.
During the trial, it came to light that the FBI had been sitting on drone videos all year, which should have dropped any charges against Rittenhouse from the start. From the air, you can undoubtedly see who started firing first, who attacked whom and who is to blame. The FBI hid this material from Rittenhouse’s defence. Some speculate that individual actors wanted to set an example from Rittenhouse for other firearms enthusiasts and ideas about defending foreign property. Such a theory is not difficult to accept. Anyone who has seen any photo of Rittenhouse knows that he is not a vigorous soldier with an iron jaw and broad shoulders. The boy looks like an ideal target for taking it out on someone. Maybe that was the plan, too, but it broke down when Rittenhouse’s guardian angel worked overtime.
The circumstances in which he found himself at the time of the attack further confirm this. Rittenhouse did not wander around Kenosha alone with a first aid kit and a rifle on his shoulder. Members of the militia, which protected local businesses from rioters, worked in pairs. Rittenhouse was paired with a 40-year-old war veteran, who, however, disappeared by accident just in time before the incident. Rittenhouse thus had to go out on his own to put out the fire. The rioters wanted to burn the gas station. Rittenhouse’s action angered the rioters. The young man began to retreat, but they rushed after him. The first to shoot was one of the rioters, Joshua Ziminski. Then the crazy podophile Joseph Rosenbaum rushed at him and ended up dead. No kidding, Rosenbaum was released from the insane asylum that day. The same fate befell another striker, Anthony Huber, who hit Rittenhouse with a skateboard while lying on the ground. The third, a member of Antifa, Gaige Grosskreutz, survived the meeting with Rittenhouse. He admitted in court that Rittenhouse fired only when he aimed a gun at him, which he was not legally allowed to have.
Rittenhouse was found not guilty in the eyes of the court. Meanwhile, the mainstream media has already done enough damage to make him guilty in the eyes of the public forever. Worst of all, Rittenhouse was held hostage to dirty politics at his own trial, which forced him to grow up prematurely.
