Sick but dangerous people

By: Jože Biščak

Never in the history of the Slovene language has there been a word that people who do not understand what it means could use it more freely and literally scatter it around than the word fascism. Inflation phenomenon and labelling with a fascist is no longer a matter of everyday conversation or expression of anger over someone you curse in affection, but it is a systematic and planned public use in progressive intellectual, journalistic, and political circles to stigmatise an ideological adversary. And the more they use it, the likelihood that they will understand it approaches zero. Although they pretend to be naturally born scholars.

Suddenly, fascism (or Nazism) lurks behind every bush; Slovenian police are flirting with fascism, education minister Simona Kustec is a collaborator of Nazism, Janez Janša is, of course, a fascist autocrat, and the entire centre-right government is fascist. Leftists see it everywhere, except for when they see their image in the water. They think that they draw possible historical parallels or give a well-founded political reference to time, but they only reflect their purely personal preferences. The madness of stigmatisation, swearing and disqualification with fascists, Nazis, and racists without any real basis and all those who have ideologically right-wing views of the world and in any way cooperate with or support the Janša government is gaining completely new dimensions. The irony is that fascism or Nazism have never been a phenomenon of the right, they have always been, properly understood, a phenomenon of the left; Communism and Fascism are rivals from the same historical nest – Marxism.

The word fascism has no meaning unless it means something undesirable, George Orwell wrote three-quarters of a century ago. This visionary’s thought still holds true today: the right in power is undesirable, in fact it should never be there. And to prevent this, the progressives use the means typical of real fascism. This is something like the one in Islam that you can break Muhammad’s commandments to destroy an unbeliever. This is also why leftists so easily find common ground with Islam. In fact, they find it with any totalitarian ideology, although their already stupid logic could not be more stupid. But they are world champions in pretending. And lying. We certainly cannot deny that to them.

They are helped by the septic tank of the hegemonic media

The constant obsession and vigilance in the search for fascists is a fragile shell within which there is nothing. The lives of leftists are empty, they lose the meaning of life if they are not constantly awake in search of fascism. Therefore, they also do not see that the centre-right government has done more in a year and a half than all the new faces in the past decade. In fact, it is amazing how they are sawing a branch on which it grows well. Exclusively because it was done by someone who does not have the same worldview as them. Therefore, their hearts have hardened, their false justice is eating away at that piece of humanity they have left. Their career dissatisfaction is caused by fatigue, the only joy they find is in the vomiting of hatred, when on Wednesdays and Fridays they terrorise the citizens of the capital and block the city’s entrances. And the septic tank of the hegemonic media labels them fighters against fascism. This is the true face of leftism.

Of course, they will never admit that they live in the fallacy of a parallel world. This is not written in their manual. It says there that they must deny the truth and dedicate themselves to making lies. If they happen to come across something positive, they need to turn it around and add it to their endless list of resentments. Happiness is not their stop on the path of life, they avoid it in a big arc. If they did not do this, they would lose the sense of existence that follows the mentality of a spoiled relative: constant complaining, whining about cruel fate, and disguising oneself as a victim. With common sense constantly telling you that you are responsible for your own actions, they are not close; it would be too much mental effort to think rationally.

Ideological platitudes with a Marxist pedigree are all they can do. This eats away their mental world and nurtures inner peace. A few days ago, the poet Tone Kuntner and I – kindness, as much as you want – found out that these are sick but dangerous people. So, is leftism a disease that causes the decay of humanity and degenerates the human soul? Definitely.
