Quick-tempered people, hold your horses

In recent months, it has been bubbling tirelessly in our public. And not just bubbling, the action is almost approaching a wild boil. From morning to evening, every day, through all channels…

Anyone who follows the media and social networks feels this well. Mainly because public opinion is ruthlessly divided, as are opinions in families, collectives, among friends. This hurts those who think well. Clearly, the minds of some have completely failed. They are only angry and hostile. They are ignoring the obvious crisis and its deaths.

We may all be shocked by the pre-election “fever”, but the latter must not be an excuse for almost delirium, illogical perception, delusions of quick-tempered people and their extreme reactions. Insults in the National Assembly on social networks, hostile slogans, death threats, constant opposition, and contempt for any move by this government.

Devil only knows what all they may conceive in their one-minded heads. After all, the ideas of the “almighty” never end. They have always been convinced that “it belongs to them” – not only the best jobs and high positions, but villas, newspapers and RTV, they must have the state and all the privileges they can secure from its top (with the help of “consecrated” somehow). And it is never enough for them. Neither authority nor privileges. Who remembers with what sour faces they signed the independence of Slovenia and the start of democracy?! If one does not believe, let him read a recent book full of archival documents that testify to what all this elite has appropriated through the parallel mechanisms of the deep state. After this reading, it will not be hard to guess that the machinations have brought smiles back to their faces.

But now it is bad. Democracy is baring its “teeth”. One must also be an ordinary mortal and respectful, and work with those who now lead this country. It is necessary to look and see beyond your greed, anger, and hostility. The country is of all of us. Therefore, KUL members, Kučans, Golobs, Erikas, Nikas, culturists, to whom we citizens pay contributions, hold your horses. It is time for honest work, convincing, solid arguments, and democratic, not opportunistic solutions. The pre-election “fever” must not be an excuse for almost delirium, illogical perception, delusions of quick-tempered people.
