Ours against ours is a civil war, comrades

by Davorin Kopše

After Thursday’s violent protests in Ljubljana, in their now famous “Dalton Gang” style, a foursome united in a coalition of the Constitutional Arc – who wants to take power with 39 votes in the National Assembly – stepped in front of the cameras on Trg republike. Marjan Šarec, Luka Mesec, Alenka Bratušek and Tanja Fajon came to say that the government had staged protests against itself and against the police, who, in addition to journalists, had been attacked by these same protesters. They stated that the government had sent all those present to the scene, who “fought” with each other.

When one thinks about such profound nonsense, the thought of a civil war passes through one’s mind, which means a conflict between our people against our people. Yes, the current opposition consists of the components that function in this bitter way. Only the boneheaded government, that the foursome would like to form, can protest against themselves and their own police.

Coalition partners from the afterlife of politics, all at the beginning of their speeches, claimed that they condemn both verbal and physical violence, but they did not even think that they were using it themselves  in their speeches – while declaratively condemning physical violence, they have been committing verbal violence against common sense for several months.

Let’s take a look at it.

Tanja Fajon concluded that the protests were the result of months of tensions caused by the government. At the same time, she asserted  that this was also a consequence of the fact that Janez Janša allegedly caused unrest among the people by attacking the media.

Leftists are an exploded bomb of hatred

Come on, have you ever heard anything stupider? So, were the violent demonstrations carried out by the media, if we hypothetically agree that Janša is teasing them? Oops, indirectly they were, but the real reasons lies in the leftists and in their hostility. They are afraid to exist in a country where they would have to earn their bread honestly. They fear that they will have to create shows with half of the unnecessary collaborators and perhaps in less time. Yes, their sinecures would fall, but nothing else is endangered. But is it worth to drive crowds of people onto roads and incite them for weeks until they explode in hostility to anything that comes their way? Remember, gangs are loyal only to themselves and their inner hierarchy, so do not use them for your vile goals because they will always turn against you for their own interests at some point.

By the way, a good acquaintance of the police and a well-known organizer and participant in the protests told RTV Slovenia Tednik that next time the journalists of this media house should be marked and everything will be fine. They (the allies) will not be beaten. At least not at this stage yet, this comes later if things get out of control of the deep state. In addition, Tanja Fajon claims that the opposition will do everything to replace the government, which despite all its successes and genuine concern for the people, she describes as harmful. In extremist minds, everything means everything without any restrictions, not even by the rule of law, which they often emphasize as their cover story.

Conspirators and buffoons of LMŠ

Marjan Šarec also shone for Fajon in his style. He said that they had gathered together. Yes, he also often says that they work together. At least he got one thing right – in a group people get together and in a group, you can only work together. Oh, these “šarcisms”! He then parroted the lie that Prime Minister congratulated Trump on winning the presidential election and continued to say that Prime Minister caused Slovenia’s diplomatic problems. If anyone caused them, it is the politicians of his kidney and the media who constantly lies and stages manipulations. The only good thing is that they are more and more obviously malicious in their false efforts and therefore more and more exposed.

For Šarec, the proof that the protests were staged is the fact that Minister of the Interior, Aleš Hojs, appeared on the scene. In his infallibility, Šarec apparently overlooked the fact that Hojs came to support the police officers who were exposed to granite blocks and other dangers, not the protesters. It is no coincidence that Šarec criticized Hojs’ accusation of the media’s responsibility for the situation due to their favourable reporting on Friday’s protests. With this, Šarec defended those media that were in constant contact with the opposition, which co-organized the protests and also participated  in them. Šarec and many of his own, including former Secretary of National Security Damir Črnčec, were seen there, which made them look like buffoons. Šarec defended his allies in conspiratorial conduct, which is harmful to health, life and safety.

Neurotic militants of Levica

The next to step in front of the microphone was the visibly neurotic Luka Mesec, who first greeted with “Hey!” And only then with “Greetings”. Of course, the representative of Levica, whose MP Miha Kordiš has repeatedly proven his militancy and aggression, falsely distanced himself from violence. Let us only remember Kordiš’s calls for capitalists to be “pushed” into the sea with bayonets. Is this a pacifist call? Mesec announced that they would find out through the Commission for the Supervision of Security and Intelligence Services what the protests were about and who staged them. So, the day after the protests, Mesec announced what would happen later. The commission carried out unannounced inspections at Sova, NPU and the Criminal Police, of which they were informed on POP TV, and a criminal complaint was filed on Monday by members of this commission Dejan Kaloh and Anja Bah Žibert from SDS, for the release of classified information. Who could be said to stage and organize protests on this basis? Mesec apparently already knew on Friday what would happen, the only thing he did not anticipate was the indictment.

Alenka Bratušek hinted that the circumstances in which the protests took place should be investigated through the National Assembly. Apparently, the opposition is truly acting in a coordinated manner, which may make it easier to investigate who leaked classified information during the KNOVS surveillance. Alenka went on to ponder the question of how it is that the police did not quickly deal with the hooligans, as they do at football matches in the event of riots. In this part of her performance, it was clear she is talking about something she does not understand. Fan groups and street violent protests cannot be compared because of their basic interest. Football fans aim to perform as a group and are very supportive of each other, so they are also more manageable. In our case, different street gangs gathered that otherwise do not work together. They only share the desire to cause as much confusion and damage as possible. They run away in partisan style in open space and then “hit” again. This is exactly what happened on Thursday. They were controlled only when the police managed to encircle them and prevent them from dispersing. At that time, a water cannon was also used effectively, which is not used when dealing with football fans.

After recent violent demonstrations and other events, we can with certainty claim that the opposition’s attempts to overthrow the government are coordinated. They are coordinated both with each other and with the dominant media. The opposition has always advocated for some sort of right to protests that took place on Fridays during the epidemic, which has led to restriction on gatherings of large groups of people. No requests for permission have been submitted for individual gatherings and protests, thus concealing the real organizers at all times. We know that opposition representatives also regularly took part in the protests. Protests aimed only at overthrowing the government were also defended in the National Assembly.

So what to conclude?

Politics, which is currently manifested in the opposition, united in a kind of coalition by force. It is made up of parties that are distinctly narcissistic, which keeps them apart. It is a similar to Šarec’s former coalition. It had an external supra-coalition partner, Levica, and the current coalition has RTV Slovenia and POP TV for this purpose. The main resentment goes to the media, which is supposed to be national and thus in the service of all. This television station has distanced itself from the historical acts during the broadcast of the show on independence processes and the decision to call a plebiscite in Poljče. This is a new shameful story about this media.

The new coalition will be able, just as the first was, to throw in the towel.
