Since there were European elections this year and soon after that preliminary parliamentary elections in France, we have heard endless discussions in the mainstream media and from representatives of European institutions about tolerance, human rights, and especially about maintaining “our democracy” and democratic values, which are supposedly threatened by the successes of right-wing and conservative parties.

It is said that democracy is threatened by those who are democratically elected—in contrast to the European Commission—and who receive support in a completely democratic way. Well, of course, the great warriors for “democratic values”, when they talk about democracy, are not talking about the general democratic process, which, as we saw in France, can be so oriented that it actually maintains the status quo and enables mobilisation against some upstarts who are not welcome among the liberal elites. No, they are talking about liberal democracy, a perverted form of democracy with a happy face, but beneath which lies the grimace of globalism that destroys cultures and nations.

BAN IN THE NAME OF TOLERANCE. THE IDEOLOGICAL DEPRAVITY OF OUR LEFTISTS IS LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF ORWELL’S 1984

When their “democracy” is threatened, they use various means to trample any manifestation of true democracy, which would place at the head of a nation someone who cares at least a little about the fate of his homeland, with the choice and blessing of the people. A particularly perverse example of this fight against democracy in its name can now be seen in Slovenia. The ruling party, Gibanje Svoboda, along with the leftist crowd, wants to ban symbols associated with certain ideologies of the past century, which supposedly lurk at every corner to threaten democracy. Among other things, they want to ban the Carniolan eagle because it is associated with the Home Guard, the valiant fighters against the red beast that has and still is clawing at our sub-Alpine country. It does not matter at all that it is the coat of arms of the Duchy of Carniola, which has been part of our heritage for centuries. Because the Home Guard used it for a few years, it is too contaminated for the descendants of the bandits. Of course, they publicly and seriously explain that they want to ban this symbol in the name of freedom, democracy, and tolerance. A ban in the name of tolerance. The ideological depravity of our leftists is like something out of Orwell’s 1984.
