As of today, some names of ministerial candidates are known, and Klemen Boštjančič is expected to take over the Ministry of Finance in the quota of the Gibanje Svoboda party. Let us recall that Boštjančič was considered by the old “Adria employees” to be one of the worst directors of Adria in its history, who made an important contribution to its bitter end.
Well-informed sources say that Klemen Boštjančič is quite harmless, but on the other hand he is the ideal obedient executor of orders of the President of the Management Board of Modra Zavarovalnica Borut Jamnik. Boštjančič, who is supposedly not even aware of his incompetence, used to get involved with Adria employees in the past – allegedly this made it much easier for the Jamniks to control him. He and his wife were very active in founding Jure Leben’s party, which was later taken over by Robert Golob. The source revealed that when the party was formed, the actors often met at his home in Dravlje (where he has a house with a swimming pool), and Boštjančič behaved arrogantly like an uncle from the background. It is likely that he maintained a similar status in Golob’s party – especially if it is in Jamnik’s interest.
In addition to having a house with a swimming pool, Boštjančič also has an office in a rather prestigious place – in Vegrad’s Rotonda, where he drives a jaguar – he obviously likes to be noticed. Boštjančič was the chairman of the supervisory board in Vegrad at the time when the company went bankrupt. Žurnal24 also wrote about his arrogance in 2012, when supervisors unanimously dismissed him from the position of President of the Management Board of Adria Airways. When they found out that the planes would remain on the ground without him (surprisingly, he was the only one with a license for international flights), they called him back – who, according to the chairman of the supervisors, blackmailed and shouted – he conditioned his return with the resignation of Vinko Možet, which also happened.
Boštjančič belongs to the circle of a bankster Matej Narat
Boštjančič has been the chairman of the Sava board for some time, where he sits together with a member of the Sava board and former banker Matej Narat – according to the former employee, 500 million euros supposedly evaporated within the Sava system during his tenure. Narat was a member of the NLB Management Board in the past, even at the time when the banking hole was created, which was then financed by taxpayers, and the President of the Management Board Marjan Kramar paid a million for his work performance. Due to Narat’s role in granting loans in 2002-2009, he was also sentenced to six months probation. Well, it should not be overlooked that the Irangate affair also took place at his time.
Last but not least, let us recall the article by Požareport, in which they listed who allegedly transferred money to the journalist of the Necenzurirano portal, Vesna Vuković (via SEE M. & C., Ltd). According to their information, it was also a transfer of Robert Golob, through the company Gen-i, where he was chairman of the board – 103 thousand euros and a transfer of Klemen Boštjančič, chairman of the board of Sava, through his private company Brio svetovalni center, Ltd – 34 thousand euros.
