The SDS party will introduce a tax-free 13th salary and two additional pensions!

“We will upgrade the Personal Income Tax Act. We will introduce the 13th salary, which will be mandatory and will not be taxed. We will introduce two additional pensions, one for Christmas and one for summer holidays as in Austria. We will continue to give people more,” said SDS Vice President Aleš Hojs in a confrontation on the Decision 2022 in a show on POP TV.

There are more and more pre-election confrontations before the upcoming elections. This time, in the first pre-election confrontation on POP TV, the faces of the parties that currently rank the highest according to opinion polls were confronted. They talked about current socio-political topics, and Aleš Hojs, as a representative of the SDS, also announced the addition of an income tax amendment.

Proponents of the income tax amendment, which was adopted a few days ago, are convinced that people themselves know best what to do with their money, and that it is better to keep it in the pockets of citizens. The amendment brings higher net wages for all and provides tax relief for the employment of those under 29, over 55, and those in deficient occupations. Interior Minister and SDS Vice President Aleš Hojs said that the Personal Income Tax Act would be further upgraded.

Levica party does not allow employees decent pay

At the adoption of the personal income tax amendment, Prime Minister Janez Janša, who was unable to attend the confrontation due to his trip to Zagreb, said: “After the adoption of the Personal Income Tax Act, net salaries will increase significantly for all employees. We can only marvel at those who voted against and do not allow people to get decent pay for decent work without making the economy more burdened.”

Of course, every citizen is looking forward to a higher income, but obviously we are expecting some improvements, as Aleš Hojs said at the confrontation: “We will upgrade the Personal Income Tax Act. We will introduce the 13th salary, which will be mandatory and will not be taxed. We will introduce two additional pensions, one for Christmas and one for summer holidays as in Austria. We will continue to give people more.”

Considering the last years, when Slovenia overcame the epidemic and the crisis very well thanks to the current government, the SDS keeps its promises, but at the same time it is a strong incentive for the people in this crisis, which is gaining global proportions.
