Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Ljutomer Business Zone expansion. The project worth EUR 1 million will be implemented by the Municipality of Ljutomer under the Agreement on the development of the Pomurje region and will receive EUR 355 thousand of European Regional Development Fund support.
As part of the project, municipality Ljutomer will build a road network within its business zone, including a pedestrian corridor on one side, a water supply system, faecal and meteor sewerage and public lighting. This will increase the supply of land that enables traffic accessibility and has appropriate community infrastructure for production, small business and service activities in municipality Ljutomer.
The project will result in the enhanced added value of small and medium-sized enterprises and help achieve municipal goals, including economic growth and new jobs.
