According to the various media reports, the woman who was shot yesterday when the angry Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in protest of the confirmation of Biden´s election, was a United States Air Force veteran.
A woman was shot by the police while during the Trump Rally in Washington the supporters of Donald Trump, who is still certain that the Democrats stole his victory, stormed the US capitol in an attempt to stop Joe Biden from being confirmed as the new president. Ashli Babbitt, 35 years old, was a 14-year veteran who served four Air Force tours. Her husband described her as a big Trump supporter and a great patriot. According to some eyewitnesses, she was shot while trying to climb through a broken window into an area that was blocked off by the police. The investigation is still ongoing.
While hours later the authorities reclaimed control of the Capitol and have subsequently arrested around 50 people and another three people died due to still unknown reasons, the media and the world leaders are condemning the events that took place as an attack on democracy. Mainstream media are reporting about the violence of the Trump crowd, but it should be noticed that the same media praised the violent BLM and leftist rioters who were burning and looting all over the USA in 2020.
