New secretaries of state in Janša’s cabinet

The Government has appointed Minister of State, Brigadier magister Bojan Pograjc, as Secretary of State in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Janez Janša, who fulfils all the conditions for promotion to the rank of Major-General. He will be responsible for the Slovenian Armed Forces and NATO.

 

 

Marjan Dolinšek was also appointed Secretary of State in the Prime Minister’s Cabinet, who was a former SMC political party member from years 2014 to 2018 and is a veteran of the war for Slovenia. In Janša’s Cabinet was also appointed as Secretary of State Dr. Katja Triller Vrtovec, formerly v. d. the Director of the Government Legislature. New v. d. the Director of the Government Legislature became Dr. Miha Pogačnik. These three have thus joined the current secretaries of state in Janša’s cabinet. Dr. Vinko Gorenak is in charge of coordination between the Government and the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Igor Senčar is State Secretary for Coordination of International and European Affairs, Žan Mahnič is State Secretary for National Security and Jelka Godec is State Secretary for Health area. The Prime Minister’s Cabinet is headed by Peter Šuhel.
