By Andrej Sekulović

HarperCollins will publish a new book of J.R.R. Tolkien in June, which will include until now unpublished essays of the Lord of the Rings author about his fantasy world Middle Earth, where the legends and stories of his heroes and villains take place.

The book will be titled Nature of Middle Earth and will offer the reader new insights about Middle Earth and its peoples and races. The never before published collection of essays will also include new maps of some lands in Tolkien´s fantasy world. The essays will be edited by Tolkien scholar Carl F. Hostetter who also worked with Christopher Tolkien in the past until he passed last year.

In the previous years, HarperCollins published many of Tolkien´s previously unpublished books, such as Hurin´s Children (2007), Beren and Lúthien (2017), and Fall of Gondolin (2018). J.R.R. Tolkien died in 1973 and remains most famous as an author of The Hobbit (1937) and The Lord of the Rings (1954-55).

Harper Collins je skozi leta izdal več še neobjavljenih Tolkienovih knjig, ki jih je uredil njegov sin Christopher, kot so Hurinovi otroci (2007), Beren and Lúthien (2017) in Fall of Gondolin (Padec Gondolina) (2018). J.R.R. Tolkien je preminil leta 1973 in je najbolj znan kot avtor Hobita (1937) in Gospodarja prstanov (1954 in 1955).
