Slovenian MEP Romana Tomc (EPP/SDS) is this year’s recipient of The Employment, Social Affairs & Regions Award by The Parliament Magazine.
The Brussels-based fortnightly presented the 2020 MEP awards for efforts and achievements in various fields online on Tuesday. Tomc said that the accolade was proof that Europe had not forgotten about its citizens in these difficult times and that efforts regarding social affairs, employment and demographic issues were vital.
