Nicole Scherzinger says ‘it’s hard for kids today’ as she reflects on own insecurities

The Pussycat Dolls singer lacked self confidence when she was younger and struggled with bulimia earlier in her career.

Nicole Scherzinger says she fears for children growing up today after lacking self confidence herself as a youngster.

The X Factor : The Band judge, who has admitted to having eating disorder bulimia earlier in her career as a member of The Pussycat Dolls, said: “I think it can be hard for young kids.

“I know i had a hard time feeling I fitted into my own skin. I was just hard on myself. I had a lot of struggles with self esteem and a lot of insecurities.”

In tonight’s show, Nicole, 41, who is a judge alongside Simon Cowell , gets very emotional over one act, Kellie-Marie, who sings about being alone.
