Italian police attacked by migrants with glass bottles while trying to arrest a drug pusher

Two police officers in Genua were attacked by a group of migrants wielding glass bottles while they tried to arrest a Senegalese drug dealer.

According to an Il Giornale report, the disturbing incident happened around 2 a.m. after the two police officers stopped a car on the Via Gramsci to conduct standard identification check.

At first, the Senegalese migrant appeared to be cooperative with the police. However, after being asked to step out his car he fled the scene.

During the foot pursuit, the Senegalese migrant yelled continuously, leading other migrants who have been described as not being from the European Union, to then aid him by surrounding the two pursuing police officers.

The migrants, armed with glass bottles, began hurling them at the police.
