Inside Kylie Minogue’s ‘sex and drug fuelled’ affair with Michael Hutchence

When pop princess Kylie Minogue met raunchy INXS front man Michael Hutchence it seemed an unlikely coupling – it turned out to be explosive.

Kylie Minogue was the petite pop princess from Down Under who was pure while Michael Hutchence was the rock god front man of INXS. Together they were a dynamite coupling. 

Kylie and Michael may have seemed an unlikely pairing but the Aussie duo’s whirlwind romance changed Kylie for good and speaking in a documentary about Michael’s life, she has lifted the lid on their relationship. 

Between 1989 and 1991, Kylie believes Michael helped her transform from a innocent chart-topping pop singer into a sex-vamp ready to unleash her new persona upon the world.

What happened in those two years had a profound effect on Kylie’s outlook and life choices and she described her time with the INXS singer as a “a dark bad boy and I was the pure good girl”.
