Kevin Federline praises ex Britney Spears as she ‘checks into mental health facility’

The Stronger singer is said to be seeking mental health treatment after suffering emotional distress over her father’s illness.

Britney Spears ‘ ex-husband Kevin Federline has praised her for seeking mental health treatment, his attorney says.

K-Fed was married to Britney from 2004 to 2007, and the exes share kids Sean, 13, and Jayden, 12. 

A statement released by his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said: “Kevin commends Britney for recognizing that she needs to take a step back and that she is taking reasonable steps to dealing with her situation in a responsible way,” reports ET .

Britney, 37, is reported to have checked herself into a mental health facility to seek treatment after suffering emotional stress over her father’s illness.
