Lagerfeld’s beloved pet Choupette was his muse for an entire collection, a handbag and a book.
Catwalk king Karl Lagerfeld died this week and word is that the beneficiary of his fortune will be Choupette, his beloved Birman cat.
The pampered puss was often seen in Karl’s arms at A-list events, and was his mews – sorry, muse – for an entire collection, a handbag and a book.
Karl let his felines for Choupette show and was once quoted as saying: “I never thought that I would fall in love like this with a cat.”
Last year, he said that “among others” Choupette would receive a share of his wealth when he died.
