Madonna recalls ’embarrassment of home sewn clothes’ in throwback pics of Graduation Day

Madonna bemoans the lack of cleavage on show due to strict father.

Superstar singer Madonna has shared some throwback pics from her High School Graduation Day in 1976 and has bemoaned that the family couldn’t afford ‘store bought’ gowns and that she had to make her own clothes for the special day.

Sharing the sweet pics with her 12.9 million Instagram followers, there was joy at seeing Madonna’s younger sister Paula, alongside an 18-year-old version of the True Blue singer.

Now 60, Madonna recalled the day that she left Rochester Adams High School in Rochester, Michigan, back in the late seventies, and how she had to get busy with needle and thread to ensure that her and sister Paula had something to wear.
