Gwyneth Paltrow’s Go-Go’s musical Head Over Heels set to close in January amid low ticket sales

Gwyneth Paltrow‘s musical Head Over Heels will close early next year amid sluggish ticket sales.

The musical produced by the 46-year-old actress, according to Page Six, has been lagging in sales in comparison to other current Broadway productions.

The last exhibition of Head Over Heels will occur January 6, wrapping after a disappointing 188 regular outings and 37 previews.

Head Over Heels comes to an ending after it only grossed $5.6 million, with weekly totals eclipsing $300,000 only two times. It had a substandard 46 percent capacity last week, when business on Broadway was thriving.

The crowded market currently includes an adaptation of Network starring Bryan Cranston; To Kill a Mockingbird from Aaron Sorkin, starring Jeff Daniels; and The Cher Show.
