Elton John feud with Roger Daltrey heats up as star denies claims he ignored requests to play charity event

Elton John’s feud with The Who’s Roger Daltrey rumbles on, as the singer hits back at claims he ignored requests to perform at Roger’s charity event, report The Mirror.

Roger told the Mirror he had tried to enlist Sir Elton, 71, for his Teenage Cancer Trust gigs, but claimed the Rocket Man star was unable to “answer his bloody emails”.

But Elton is mystified – and claims Roger has never participated at his functions.

Elt’s husband, David Furnish, says: “Elton was puzzled when that came out because every time Roger has asked, we have responded.

“The reason Elton has not been able to support is because he has been in Las Vegas doing his residency. And we’ve always got back to Roger.
