X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ Trailer Retells Classic Comic Book Story

Sophie Turner brought the first look to the ‘Late Late Show.’, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

Sophie Turner has unveiled an out-of-this-world trailer for X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

The star brought the trailer to Wednesday’s The Late Late Show, where she and host James Corden offered the first look at the X-Men film that will adapt the classic comic book storyline and send the Marvel mutants into space.

Anticipation for the trailer has been even higher than usual, as the film was moved from its original November release date to Feb. 14, 2019. The move was made to accommodate reshoots for its third act and for what studio 20th Century Fox said was to allow it to launch in the prime February spot that saw 2016’s Deadpool and this year’s Black Panther become big hits.
