Hungary: Bulgaria’s deputy prime minister, no sanctions

“There is a repressive action against Hungary that is not based on solid ground, since there is no significant evidence in favour of the European parliament proposal to impose EU sanctions against that country,” said Bulgaria’s deputy premier and defense minister Krassimir Karakachanov at the end of a meeting of the ministerial council last night, reports Ansa.it.

 

Karakachanov added that, in accordance with a proposal made by the coalition partners ‘United Patriots’, the center-right government led by Boyko Borissov (GERB), is preparing to issue Sofia’s statement on the EU sanctions against Hungary.
