April Smith, 35, was nervous to give up her job at first, but she's now completely hooked and gets withdrawals and anxiety if she skips a day in case she's missed anything good.
A chef who quit her full-time job working in a busy kitchen to spend her days searching through people's old rubbish claims she has made £16,000 in just six months.
April Smith, 35, says she has saved £3,250 on food bills and has acquired beauty products and household goodies worth another £16,250, by diving into giant supermarket dumpsters and turning other people's trash into treasure.
Although she was nervous to give up work at first, she's now completely hooked and gets withdrawals and anxiety if she skips a day in case she has missed any interesting goodies.
She said: "I’m lucky because I live close to a tonne of stores, so I rarely drive more than 10 miles for a dive.
